Seasonal contest and I chose;
a) Summer time and
b) Her character, Mariah Acorn, and
's Tessa 'Gust' Fox.
The picture didn't really turn out how I wanted. Was so hard to adapt the water to the sliding motion. Oh well.
It was fun all the same doing this.

Well, what to say...?
I think you did an awesome job on this entry.
Let's start with the characters... I think you drew them very well, especially Tessa. It looks kinda cool how she's turn down by the water and her expression fits it pretty well, too.. so.. shocked? XD ... she has a pink nose OMG! D8 *bricked*
About Mariah, well her mouth looks a bit weird to me but that doesn't really matter.. and I don't know why but for some reason her body seems (ignoring the boobs) so manly... Oo I can't really explain it nor do I really know why the heck it seems so to me.
But all in all they are both drawn wonderfully and their poses are pretty realistic to my mind.
The background is... a real eye-catcher I would say xD
It's not overwhelming and taking the attention from the characters, but rather merging with them perfectly. Well of course, the whole picture wouldn't be anything without the background. I can just agree to the others, as for example =Amarena-Berry, you drew the water awesomely. It looks so realistic especially with the foam at the bottom. But also the sky with it's clouds just looks great. I just love the way you drew it, especially with these different shades of blue that are clearly visible. Such a sky is usually seen as a smooth gradient, but yours is just... different. Different, unique and great. And the clouds rule~ *steals them*
All in all I really love this picture. Last but not least because of the great idea behind it. You just thought up something nice and creative instead of randomly drawing two characters in a style that kinda makes you guess a theme.
